A Weekend in Xi'an

What started out as a trip to the mountains in Huangshan, quickly became a trip to see the Terracotta warriors in Xi'an.
A short 17-hour train ride later, and we were there. Cheryl, our resident producer, quickly found us lodging with a man named Clarence who ran a suite of apartments aptly named "Warriors Apartments," I'm not going to elaborate.
Clarence had his own theories about what may have happened with these stone soldiers, and his entire tour was in ardent support of this. We also met a cave-dwelling village of old people. That was fun.
There is a rather large Muslim population in Xi'an which meant kebabs and lamb for dinner. Though we also made good use of the local KFC. I'm fairly certain I ate cat from a street-meat vendor, as I got deathly ill. However, that did not stop me from riding a bicycle atop the wall that surrounds the city.
Not bad for a 3-day weekend.
